GreenRev Project Brief
GreenRev is developing a Saudi heavy-phenol-residue valorization project in Rabigh Industrial Area. The project is designed to recover specialty chemical fractions from phenol-acetone process residues through validated industrial recovery technologies.
This page is a non-confidential, plain HTML brief intended for search engines, AI tools, technology licensors, EPC firms, equipment suppliers, and industrial partners that may not execute JavaScript.
Development Status
GreenRev is under development and is currently progressing through technology screening, partner qualification, feedstock-commercial-structure clarification, regulatory planning, feasibility development, and pre-FEED / partner-screening activities.
The project is not yet operational, EPC-awarded, SIDF-approved, feedstock-secured, offtake-secured, or technology-finalized.
Indicative Phase 1 Basis
Target Recoverable Fractions
- p-Cumylphenol-rich fraction
- Acetophenone-rich fraction
- AMS / cumene-related fraction
- Recovered phenolic streams
- Heavy residue stream for licensed downstream handling or further recovery evaluation
Product slate, grades, yields, and downstream pathways remain subject to feedstock composition, pilot validation, final process design, and customer qualification.
Candidate Recovery Technologies
GreenRev is evaluating multiple validated process pathways suitable for high-boiling, heat-sensitive phenolic residues, including vacuum fractionation, wiped-film evaporation, short-path distillation, pressure-swing or multi-effect distillation, and other industrial recovery routes.
Final configuration remains subject to feedstock assay, pilot validation, engineering review, and commercial evaluation.
Partnership Focus
GreenRev is screening technology licensors, process developers, EPC firms, equipment suppliers, validation partners, and industrial partners for its Phase 1 heavy phenol residue valorization project.
- Technology partners with phenol tar recovery, residue valorization, or specialty fraction recovery experience
- Engineering and EPC partners for FEED, EPCM, EPC, modular systems, and Saudi/GCC execution support
- Equipment suppliers for wiped-film evaporation, short-path distillation, vacuum systems, condensers, storage, controls, and analytical systems
- Validation partners for sample testing, pilot trials, assay review, recovery-yield validation, fouling evaluation, and product qualification
